Braveheart Review

Braveheart is about the story of William Wallace, the main character of the movie, in which tells the story of the rivalty between England and Scotland. When he was a child, his father was killed by the English, and that's why he grew up with his uncle. In the "funeral", William met a girl, Murron, wich gave him a valuable flower in demonstration of her sorry for him.
Then it appears William but older, coming to a type of "carnaval", and he met again with Murron.
But this carnaval is interrupted by the English.

Then, William go to search Murron to go out riding a horse, and both, fallen in love, marry so they can be together. Right next of the marrige, they have a night of passion. But the day after, the English comes to the Scotish place, a old, disgusting man try to have sex with her, wich released William anger and he started distracting the English so Murron can escape and met there William. But when William arrives, he noted Murron wasn't there. She wasn't there because she was killed, and William promised revenge.

From now on, William, with his Scotish partners goes to England destroying all they have on the way for the independance of Scotland and they freedom. William was on the right way to be Scotland king, with his sword using it for revenge of his wife and his family.

In his fight against the english, William capture York, were he beheaded the nephew of the King of England. The victory's of William make Edward I, try to get peace with the scottish so he sent   the wife of his son, Elizabeth of France, to talk with Wallace. But the princess fall in love with William.

Finally, William is betray by some scottish and is taken prisioner by the english, who kill him in London..
The last word of Wallace was "FREEDOOMMM!!!".

After this Robert The Bruce is crowned the new King of Scotland, after fighting against the english, by the name of William Wallace. Robert obtain the independence of Scotland, a thing that William Wallace search all his life, but with no results.

My opinion about the movie is that is much help for us to understand the BIG difference between English and Scotish, about their history, and that the fact both are united by the isle Great Britain doesn't make them all equal, every natin has they own history, culture, language, traditions, food, etc. A very good movie, with very good fight scenes, atractive charcters and environment and some funny moments. I give him 9/10.

Catcher in the Rye Chapter 4 Questions

1) Describe the relationship between Holden and Stradlater.  Are they friends?  Why or why not?  Refer to specific actions the characters take or things they say to one another in the text.

A) Their relationship is an irregular one, Holden describes in a good way Stradlater ( conversation with Ackley) by beeing his roomate, but he doesn't really likes him by the way he acts and the way he behaves. Because Holden doesn't like the way he looks the goddam mirror, how handsome he is and his ignorance in front of him. When Holden ask him by Jane, Stradlater don't know much about her at the same time he razor's by looking the mirror all the conversation, he's a real bastard by that way.

2)How does Holden feel about Jane Gallagher?  What actions or remarks demonstrate his attitude toward her?

A) Holden was impressed when he listened the name of Jane Gallagher because she used to live right next door of Holden's place. His attidude towards her remarcks when he started asking to Stradlater about her and started to tell him things they used to do like playing checkers.

3) What is the reason Holden gives for not going downstairs and saying hello to Jane?  In your opinion, is this the real reason?  Why or why not?

A) The reason Holden gives is that he sworn Jane went to Shipley and not in the Annex and he wasn't in the mood to do it. In my opinion this is fake because, in the first place Holden always lies, and in the second place I think he didn't walk down 'cause he didn't dared to say hello to Jane, he was to embarrassed to do it.
